Hindu Temple Selling Fish

I don’t know whether to call this weird or stupid. Today’s New Indian Express carries a story on the overgrowth of fish population in the Kapaleshwarar Temple tank. The depleting water levels isn’t helping much. So, the temple authorities have decided to sell the fish. Why? This is what the temple authorities had to say…”The sale will prevent the fish from dying”.

Yeah right!
