I have been part of a similar drive 2.5 years back at Govt. Juvenile Home, Royapuram. But the saddest thing was it wasn't sustainable. Saplings which were planted were taken care for the first 1-2 weeks... later it was forgotten. Thus the worthy effort resulted in dead plants in the end.
