This is strange. Vijay Ravindran, the Chief Digital Officer of The Washington Post, will not be part of the team that is sold to Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com. This is because Vijay Ravindran is under the payroll of The WaPo Labs, another small company owned by the original owners which is not part of the sale deal. Interestingly, Vijay earlier worked with Amazon.com as a manager and was the brain behind the ‘Amazon Prime Shipping’ program.
