Bedtime stories : I’ve started learning a lot of children stories. My repertoire now includes Panchatantra stories, Jataka tales, Aesops fables, Akbar & Birbal and Alibaba. I can tell you this. It’s not easy capturing a child’s attention. I’ve have to plug in added sound effects and dramatics to capture my daughter’s imagination.

In a stroke of co-incidence, I stumbled upon a small neighbourhood library yesterday, two streets from my home. The library, run by a 70 year old illiterate lady, stocks good children books and boy, was I glad !
