Spurt of interest in Art : My interests seems to be very seasonal. Right now, its paintings. In the last week alone, I’ve visited most major art galleries in the city. Even when I read The Hindu, I subconciously turn into the events section looking for Art exhibitions.

Some of the paintings are ridiculous and even more ridiculously priced. I saw a piece which had random brush strokes, the stuff my daughter could do better and it carried a price tag of Rs.78,000. gulp!
