When asked about the airline, he said, \u201cVistara Airlines is going to transform the flying experience in India forever. It vows to bring back the joy in flying by focussing on excellent customer service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVistara is the product of two iconic global brands famed for their hospitality. There was high expectation when setting up the airline and if we were to trace the history of the joint venture, it is 20 years in the making.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also said that the Indian aviation industry is on the cusp of change \u201cprimarily because the consumer values are fast shifting away from price focus to placing greater emphasis on value for money\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Having spent over 26 years with Singapore Airlines, he has held different leadership roles, such as General Manager of Singapore Airlines\u2019 operations in UK and Ireland and Vice-President of the American Southwest operations, within the company.
