The book is at the juxtaposition of two areas that is close to my heart: Crowdsourcing and Twitter. \u00a0I\u2019m a big believer in the wisdom of the crowds and have long realized that many heads are better than one. I love twitter because it quickly lets me say the things that I want to say. \u00a0I first heard about the ThinkAha project, a brainchild of Mitchell Levy (my co-author) and Rajesh Setty and it perfectly fit my need. \u00a0 It let me voice thoughts on the subject as tweets, making it easy for people to pick up the nuggets.<\/p>\n
The brief for the book was simple. Crystallize the subject of Crowdsourcing within 140 tweets with each tweet not exceeding 140 characters. \u00a0I started off in right earnest and as I neared the mid-way mark, realized that this project was far tougher than I thought it would be. That\u2019s when it dawned on me. Why not solve the problem using the very subject of this book? That\u2019s when I started to seek public participation and good ideas came pouring in. The book also compiles quotes from experts from different fields with due credit given to each of them. \u00a0 Surprisingly, for a short book, it took over a year to finish. Hope you like it.<\/p>\n
