Kiruba Shankar<\/strong>\u00a0earns his daily bread as the CEO of\u00a0Business Blogging<\/a>\u00a0and Director of\u00a0F5ive Technologies<\/a>. He has 15 years of experience in the Internet space. Prior to this, he was Associate Director at Sulekha.com.<\/p>\n

Kiruba\u2019s life long dream is to live on a farm. \u00a0Its not surprising why. He hails from an agricultural family and spent his childhood in picture postcard villages. Studies and work have taken him away to the chaotic crowded world of cities.\u00a0He now earns to balance his life between cities (to earn a livelihood) and his village farm (to follow his passion).<\/p>\n

He has authored a few books. His first book is titled \u2018Wikipedia : A Beginner\u2019s Guide<\/a>\u2018\u00a0and\u00a0his second is, \u2018Unconference : Why the Audience is Cleverer than the Speaker<\/a>\u2018.\u00a0His third is \u2018Crowdsourcing Tweet<\/a>\u2018.\u00a0He is parallely working on two more titles, \u2018Copy Right & Left<\/a>\u2018\u00a0and \u2018Personal Branding Tweet<\/a>\u2018. His 3 year mission is to document this farming project into a book called \u2018The 7 Acres Dream<\/a>\u2018.<\/p>\n

He has authored technology columns at the New Indian Express, Business Standard and Financial Express Newspaper . He was an official blogger for NASSCOM and IAMAI (Internet and Mobile Association of India).<\/p>\n

For two years, he sat on the advisory board of\u00a0RangDe<\/a>, a microfinance initiative supported by ICICI Foundation.<\/p>\n

Kiruba loves teaching and has taught at\u00a0Asian College of Journalism<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Madras Advertising Club<\/a>. He has lectured on Social Media at IIM Kozhikode, IIM Bangalore and IIT Madras.<\/p>\n

He is one of the founders of The Knowledge Foundation, the group behind successful events like BlogCamp and\u00a0Proto.in<\/a>, a premiere event showcasing startups.<\/p>\n

Kiruba is the Ambassador for TEDx program for India. He has helped organize\u00a0TEDxChennai<\/a>. He is the curator of\u00a0Cerebrate.in<\/a>, an international event for achievers.<\/p>\n

He is a professional podcaster and hosts\u00a0Kiruba.TV<\/a>\u00a0where he interviews CEOs of Indian IT companies BusinessWorld Magazine ranks his blog\u00a0Kiruba.com<\/a>\u00a0as one of India\u2019s top blogs.<\/p>\n

He is a rowing champion and has captained the Sify Rowing Team to four championship titles. \u00a0He has participated in Chennai and Bangalore marathons and lived to tell this tale.<\/p>\n

Sujani<\/strong>\u00a0is Kiruba\u2019s better half. She is the CEO of F5ive Technologies. She deftly balances work, family and pursuing her vision for this farm with her hubby.<\/p>\n

Krithya<\/strong>\u00a0is a bubbly 10 year old who has already authored two books .\u00a0The first is titled\u00a0\u2018The Untold Story of the Rabbit and Tortoise\u2019<\/a>\u00a0and the second is titled\u00a0\u00a0\u2018The Princess and the Straw Dress\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She has been learning Bharatanatyam for the last 4 years. Last year, she performed \u00a0Salangai Pooja<\/a>\u00a0and has given several stage performances. \u00a0HerGuru\u2019s name is Smt.Bhavani.
