After dabbling in corporate jobs for a while, Sumit responded to his entrepreneurial calling. From a modest beginning in 2007, with a handful of IIT techies, a bright idea and an empty garage, his startup has come a long way. With 63 million dollars in funding, Sumit has grown his company to be India’s largest apartment portal. (I wrongly mentioned the funding as US$ 40 Million in the podcast). <\/p>\n
