AOL stops Pop-Up ads : Well, this is the good news. The bad news is that popups are a no-no only for external advertisers….they will continue to show popups to promote their own services. What makes that think their own popups will be less annoying that client’s popups ?!! Beats me. According to AOL CEO Jonathan Miller, stopping client’s popups will make them lose an estimated $30 million. Wow ! That’s a big price to pay to enhance customer experience.
