QFI Open Quiz on June 3
If you are a Chennaite and an active quizzer, then you probably heard of this quiz already. It’s seen great responses over the last two years and is clearly becoming an annual tradition in the quizzing calendar.
So, who is this post targeted at? It’s for guys who always wanted to take part in quizzes but never could. This is your chance. Rope in your friends, string a team and give it a shot. Trust me, its always fun. It’s on Sunday, June 3rd. Mark your calendar.
I missed the last two editions, but I know Vinod Ganesh and can vouch for the quality. I mean, hey, just read his blog, and you’d know what I mean. He also helped conduct the quiz at BlogCamp that everyone enjoyed.

Fee: Rs 50 per team. (Free for students)
Team size: A maximum of THREE members per team

The MahaQuizzer Quiz Contest. Today is Last Day to Register
The MahaQuizzer will be held simultaneously across nine cities in India on Sunday, May 27th. The cities are Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Bhubaneshwar, Pune, Kolkata, New Delhi and Mumbai. Click here for details of venue and contact person in your city.
It’s organized by The Karnataka Quiz Association and this is the third edition. It’s a general quiz contest open to individual competitors. It’s a written quiz where you attempt 150 questions in 90 minutes.
Personally, I’m not excited. I like the mixture of written and verbal rounds. It’s ain’t fun if you don’t bang that buzzer button. Also, its a solo quiz. I’m a team man. But hey, that’s just me.
