I take a little pride in starting a small
community for web developers and designers to interact and
share their knowledge. We call this the MMUG , short for
Macromedia User Group. This is an officially recognised
user group by Macromedia and we meet every month. We used
to meet at Satyam Computer's building in Teynampet Chennai.
We had taken a short sabbatical and should be re-starting
our user group meetings from the first week of March '02.
Meanwhile we actively support Digital
illusions in their Flash classes. On June 18th , there
is a session scheduled on Flash MX. If you are in Chennai,
you definitely don't want to miss this opportunity. Seating
is limited, so I advise you to register early. Pretty soon,

Last year, the India MMUG got selected
as one of the better user groups in Asia and I was invited
to New York City to make a presentation at the International
MMUG Summit. I managed to click a few
snaps at the meet. We were even given the privelege
to design the official
website for the Summit.

. It's currently in a revamp mode, so content would be a
trifle outdated. But this would be the place to find out
about the activities schedule.
