My friend’s Grandfather expired today morning. I got to know about this news just before leaving for office at 8:45 a.m. I decided to make a visit, albeit a quick one, to my friend’s house to show my parting respect. My mother insisted that I return back home to take another bath. She was afraid the stigma of death would stick on to me if I didn’t cleanse myself. She did say this out of affection but It’s amazing how old superstitions still continue to bog our minds even in these modern times.
