Audio Blogging made easy : Thanks to Jeremy Allaire, CTO of Macromedia who created this free service for fun, you can have your very own audio blog in minutes.

“Audio Blogger allows you to easily create voice content that can be linked to as a URL from a blog or any webpage. All you need to create an audio blog item is a microphone attached to your computer and Macromedia Flash Player 6. Your listener needs Flash Player 6 also which available for free download.”

For those interested in knowing about the technicalities, Audio Blogger uses Macromedia Flash Player to capture and playback audio content. The message and user database are managed using ColdFusion MX and Flash Remoting. The audio storage and streaming is provided by the Flash Communication Server MX. Mind you, it’s still in its Alpha state and there’s pretty good chance it’ll get refined soon.
