Me and a bunch of colleagues went to Pelita, a malaysian speciality restaurant for lunch. I was a trifle surprised when a couple of colleagues ordered normal Indian food…. I mean, this is like going to Saravana Bhavan and ordering chinese noodles. Some people just don’t want to experiment.

I definitely wanted to try out authentic malyasican cusine and ordered Murtabak Kambing and Mee Goreng. It’s only when the food arrived, I realised I had ordered mutton paratha and chicken noodles. Hmmmff ! I was thinking to myself that if they would have writen ‘mutton paratha’ and ‘chicken noodels’ on the menu card, I wouldn’t even have bothered looking, leave alone ordering. So much for fancy names !
