I’ve been invited to deliver a guest lecture at the Police Training College on “Convergent Technologies and their implications on Electronic Communications” to senior Tamil Nadu Police Officers. It’s part of the complete CyberCrime course conducted for the TN Police by Mr.Naavi, who has authored India’s first book on Cyber Laws in India.

I addressed a group of senior inspectors last year and came back with stunning learnings. Inspite of their harsh exterior and the tough reputation they carry, they are very soft, humble and attentive in the classroom. While a few officers came across as extremely tech savvy, some had difficulty finding even the “enter” key!! On the positive side, atleast they have shown an interest to learn. It can be a trifle awkward when these senior officers in their 40s & 50s call you as “Sir” !!
