Additions to Terrace Garden : Shenbagam ( superb smelling flowers), Jasmine climbers, Mehendhi (maruthani ), Hibiscus, and a variety of bloomer ( don’t know the name ) which has the most unique flowers I’ve seen.

I buy the plants from Horitcultural society ( opp. Woodlands Drive-in ),which is a surprisingly well managed government run society. Its an oasis of greenery and the city world shuts out when you enter in. It was a trifle hurting though, to see that the century old building inside was razed down to build an uninteresting multistoreyed office inside.
