BSNL can give you trouble even when you don’t subscribe their services. Today, they came with an army of people and dug trenches to lay their new cables. In the process, they damaged the Touchtel telephone lines which left me without phone and net connection for better part of the day. When confronted, all they did was shrug their shoulders and promptly said they cannot repair Touchtel telephone lines. Looks like they only have rights to damage other lines. Grrr. Thankfully, the touchtel repair guys responded swiftly and managed to stem the damaged wires.
