My Internet bill ran a whopping Rs.6100 this month and I decided to do something about it. As part of my research to cut down on my atrocious bill, I called up a known person at my ISP’s office and he advised me to disconnect my net connection at 10:30 p.m and then re-connect. This way, he said, I would take advantage of the half rate during night times. oh boy! I had always thought this half rate billing would automatically begin by itself. But no…. it wouldn’t take effect until I re-connect. Now, why don’t the company publish such useful information in its instruction booklet. Sigh!
