Appreciating Dinesh and Deepa : This is a brother-sister combination who is really making a difference. Dinesh lives in California and he has taken a three week sabbatical from work to come to Tamilnadu to help in relief work. Deepa works out of Chennai and she has been doing a lot of ground work in collecting information to help her brother.

Dinesh is right now on the road to Cuddalore and Nagapattinam. He has set up a relief team consisting of Ham operators, doctors and volunteers. To see someone as dedicated as Dinesh is heartening. Not only has he taken the time out to help people he is doing this on his own money with no outside assistance.

Deepa stations herself in Chennai to help co-ordinate things and pass on information. She says that there is a severe shortage of doctors. Especially lady doctors because the affected women find it uncomfortable being treated by male doctors. She says Doctors are DESPERATELY NEEDED.
