This is fantastic news! I totally love Flickr. I’ve been using it for all my images and they have saved me money in conserving my bandwidth usage. Infact, after learning that they are burdened heavily by the phenomenal growth of users, I was beginning to feel guilty of adding to their burden. I even contemplated buying a Pro account.

Now, Yahoo! will give Ludicorp, the maker of Flickr, a huge financial boost. This deal reminds me so much of the Google Blogger deal. Stewart Butterfield, CEO of Ludicorp deserves this huge deal just as much as Ev of Blogger did from Google.
