Technical Writers Knowledge Sharing Meet on May 10th

The STC meets are the best place for Technical writers, Documentation Engineers, E-learning professionals to meet up and learn. People from leading companies attend and its a great opportunity to network.

As the Chennai city reprentative of STC India Chapter, I’m organising the meet. Here’s more information about the session.

Topic : Technical Documentation in PDLC (Product Development Life Cycle)

Synopsis : Technical writing in the PDLC and documentation deliverables in each phase.
– PDLC – Service company vs. product company
– Documentation’s involvement in PDLC
– Deliverables in each phase (with a few samples)
– The process of writing – five phases (DDLC), 12 different organisation methodologies information
– Estimation of the product/project documentation
– Writing skills questionnaire

About the speaker:
Kiranmayee is a senior technical writer who has experience in diverse domains. She is a regular in the lecture circuit and is often invited by corporate companies to talk on technical documentation. Her presentation on “Approach to Documentation Maintenance projects” at the presitgious 6th Annual STC conference was well appreciated.
