“Housing Development”

There’s is quaint little tile roofed house in Vadapalani that stood amidst apartments. It’s as if someone plucked a house from a village and planted it here. Everytime I pass through this, it would be give me a whiff of the rustic life back in the villages.

But now, I see a board that’s planted in front of the house that says a four storeyed apartment will come in its place. Felt sad. The board says ‘housing development’. Development? Hmmf. Irony.
