The Charm of The Flat

There’s something about working on a flat monitor. A 17″ at that. Sure, it adds zilch to increasing work productivity but there’s the cool factor attached to it that I couldn’t resist. And since I’m getting a brand new monitor, figured it wouldn’t hurt to get a brand new comp as well. And so… here we have an Intel Dual Core 2.8 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, fresh off the wrappers sitting on my table.

I was extremely tempted to go in for a second flat monitor after reading some excellent stories about improving work productivity. It’d rock the coolness chart for sure. But the extra 10K simmered the temptation. Oh well, maybe later. or sooner.
