Video Resume? “Yup” Says Monster India’s VP

I recently interviewed Vikas Agarwal, Vice President of Products and Technology, the day after he launched the video resume service at Monster India. Apparently, its the first job site to launch a service of this kind.

Now, that’s quite logical. Recruiters can have a better understanding of the candidates (atleast their communication and presentation skills) in addition to the standard CV.

Video is such a powerful tool…which is what beats me as to why did it take so long for the job sites and matrimonial sites to latch on to this technology.
