Cognizant has invited me to speak to a large group of 10th, 11th & 12th std students on how they can smartly use Social Networking. The event is called HighQ, a Knowledge Initiative by Cognizant, on 14th August at Image Auditorium, MRC Nagar. It acts as a platform to nurture knowledge and creativity; spread awareness on multiple career options and groom them into becoming true all-rounders.
Two things on my head:
1) Speaking to students is a different ball game from the talks I give at corporates and industry conferences. It requires a nice little tweak to the talk to make it interesting. These kids have such low threshhold level in concentration.
2) I like Cognizant’s ‘Catch them young, watch them grow’ strategy of targetting school students !
