Bumped into Wasim Akram at the Port Elizabeth airport. We were taking the same flight. We spent time discussing various stuff. He was quite curious to know about Facebook and Twitter. He is on neither of them. He came across to me as technologically challenged. But a very nice guy.
While I was a kid, I would hate him as any other Indian cricket loving kid. Now, I have only admiration for him.
I realize that the best place to meet Cricketers is at the airport lounges. The cricketers have time to kill while waiting for the boarding call. They are more relaxed and are open to having a longer conversation.
