While vacationing at Yelagir Hillsi, my daughters found an orphaned bird on the ground, out in the cold at night. It was unable to fly and I’m guessing must have fallen off the nest. It was very weak and understandably, very scared. It was late at night and quite cold and so we kept it in our room and gently covered it with a cloth to keep it warm. The next day morning, we hunted for its nest but to no avail. It was an arduous task feeding it for it is still too young to feed on its own.
