It was our first Finger Millets harvest at Vaksana Farms.(Third harvest overall, after Rice and Black Grams). We grew finger millets (or Kezhvaragu in Tamil) in 1.5 acres of land. This was primarily for our consumption and the idea is to grow our own good. A very enthusiastic and hardworking team of volunteers from The Weekend Agriculturist helped us in partly harvesting the crop. Here are photos from the harvest. More Photos
