Google Mail has changed its name to Cape Mail. The guys at CapeScience have used the freely available Google API to build an email application to Google. This is how it works. Just email google@capeclear.com and put the text of your query in the “Subject” line. You’ll receive your search results via email. I’m impressed. Ok, I agree it’s not all that useful…..I mean, why would you want to send an email and wait for the results when you can search directly. Look at it technicaly. It goes to show how good APIs can be tweaked to make an application.
