A Man’s Nest & His Labor of Love

Ever seen a bird build its nest. Straw by straw it keeps adding enthusiastically. Today, I go on to the opening of one such nest. Sundar, a guy who used to be a domestic help with our family for decades, is having his grahapravesh of his house. It’s truly a labour of love. He painstakingly saved money over the years to have his own roof. Today, I’m off to the picture postcard village of ours in Pondicherry, to look at his creation and to wish him well.
