Wow ! That was my expression when I came to know of “no cost, no banner, no strings” webhosting. That too “for life with 20MB server space and 10 emails”. Mmmm…sounds too good to be true, right ? I figured there must be a catch and looked carefully into DotEasy FAQs . Didn’t find anything fishy. So how the hell do they make money? By offering bells and whistles like CGI / Perl / MySQL / ODBC support. This is charged. But you’d be more than happy with the basic stuff that comes for $0. If you have an exisiting site, you can even get a free transfer ( which otherwise costs $35 ) if you just convince two of your friends to sign up with DotEasy.

Jeesh ! I’m impressed but I’m uncomfortable trusting any company that offers too many free stuff. No, I’m not afraid they’d cheat but I’m afraid about their sustainability of business. Nevertheless, I’m impressed with DotEasy. They *really* grabbed my attention.
