Interesting observation while buying a DVD player. I found the ones in grey market to be far better than the branded ones like the Samsungs & the Philips. The “local” DVD players, typically Taiwanese make, were far slimmer, slicker and much better looking. Almost all grey market players were compatible with 5.1 home-theatre speakers while only a few of the branded ones had this feature. And all this at nearly half of the cost. Guess which one I picked up?
