Rajdeep Sardesai’s TV Channel is Live!

CNN-IBN Channel has been on air for the last few days. It’a News channel spearheaded by ex-NDTV man backed by TV18 and CNN. It’ll be interesting to see how he matches up with his mentor Prannoy Roy.

I like a few aspects of their website. For starters, they have a section called ‘Your Voice’ where they showcase interesting takes from bloggers. Nice. Finally, someone has realised that there’s interesting insights and sometimes breaking news that comes from blogs.

They have podcast feeds. Nice again. I’ve already subscribed. Their videos though are much to be desired. None of them played on my comp.

You can check out Rajdeep’s first post ( yeah, he has a blog). Made for an interesting read. It’s not easy running a start up TV channel. If he can eke out time for his blog, which I strongly doubt, it’ll make for some very interesting reading.
