Name Your New Year SMS, Please.

It’s amazing the number of SMS that’s sent around New Year. This year, I realize that the SMS wishes outdid the email new year wishes. Atleast for me. However, the sad thing is that I don’t know who sent half of them. I mean, I can see the number but don’t know who ii belongs to.

A mass SMS message with a generic ‘Wish you a happy new year’ and no name won’t warrant much of an attention, leave alone a reply greeting.

So, here’s a request. Please add your name right after the message.

It’ll help people like me who have lost most of the contacts along with the phone. This New Year is a great time to build back the database *and* to wish you a great year!

The next time you send out a mass SMS, you know what to do! 🙂
