Ahh!  The poster children of any farm.  We have four grown chickens and they are all free-ranging.  They came to our farm as chicks and now they have grown to be beautiful birds. We have recently added around 100 chicks and they are kept in the chicken coop safely away from predators.  Foxes, mongoose and owls frequent our farm at night and crows and dogs come during day looking for a quick take-away snack.  In about a month’s time, they will become fleet footed and self-reliant. Can’t wait to see a hundred chickens scurrying around our farm.
