The syllabi is quite exhaustive and it will keep all of us fully occupied through the two days. Don’t expect any classroom teaching. All learning will be practical and you will be learning from people who have been life long farmers. Here’s a sneak peek into what will be covered. Tips on buying a farmland, its cost and legalities. How to balance between full time work and farming? Different types of crop and their financial viability, How to market your produce. Soil testing, Vermicomposting, Organic farming, Living Fences…and lots more.

You get to stay in a newly built farm house in the middle of lush greenery. The house is off-grid which means there’s no electricity. This means you will live a typical village life. Sleep at dusk and wake up before day-break! All food will be cooked from fresh vegetables from the village. A ‘Farm to Fork’ concept. We will even have community cooking events which will be fun.
